The Palace on Haldenstrasse is one of the landmarks of Lucerne's lakeside promenade: a Belle Époque building from the early 20th century that reopened in 2022 as the Mandarin Oriental Palace after extensive renovation. Outside the windows lie Lake Lucerne, the Rigi and Mount Pilatus.
Lucerne is one of our fixed-price routes from Zurich Airport. Your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall, and about an hour and a quarter later you pull up right outside the hotel entrance on the lake.

The drive and arriving at the hotel
The route takes the A4 through the Knonaueramt and the A14 into Lucerne; in town it passes the station and crosses the Seebrücke onto the Nationalquai. The driver stops right at the main entrance at Haldenstrasse 10.
In summer during the Lucerne Festival and in the run-up to Christmas the city centre is busier than usual. We then build in a buffer so you arrive on time for the concert or dinner.
