The Steigenberger Grandhotel Belvédère stands on the Promenade in Davos Platz and is one of the town's best-known addresses. In January, during the World Economic Forum, it is right at the centre of things; the Congress Centre is a few minutes' walk away. In winter the Parsenn ski area beckons, and in December the Spengler Cup.
Davos is one of our fixed-price routes from Zurich Airport. Your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall and drives you via Landquart and the Prättigau valley right to the hotel on the Promenade.
The drive and arriving at the hotel
The drive follows the A3 and A13 to Landquart, then runs through the Prättigau and over Klosters and the Wolfgang Pass into Davos. Depending on traffic it takes two and a half to just over three hours; the driver stops right outside the hotel entrance.
During the WEF, security zones and access restrictions apply in Davos and demand for vehicles is enormous. Book as early as possible for that week and tell us your accreditation or appointment at the Congress Centre – our WEF guide explains how it works.
Tips for your stay
- For WEF week, an hourly chauffeur who takes you between the hotel, the Congress Centre and receptions is well worth it.
- Davos is fully booked for the Spengler Cup between Christmas and New Year – reserve your transfer early.
- In winter Klosters and the Wolfgang Pass are usually easy to drive; after fresh snow we build in a reserve.
